Nokia 6300 Review

If you are looking for a high end mobile phone with a sleek and steely look, Nokia 6300 will be able to meet your requirements. The glossy steel and black plastic combination gives it a very expensive look and makes the phone highly desirable. Though it is heavy looking it is not really that heavy and will comfortably fit in you jacket pocket.
It is ergonomically designed large keys makes the phone easy to use. The phone also has a four-way key for navigation and it is placed above the keypads like all standard model phones. However, the four-way key does not score high in terms of its quality. It also has a reasonable sized 3×4 cm display and the resolution is brilliant making it ideal for reading emails, watching photos and videos. The phone is USB enabled and can be easily connected to your laptop or PC. The charging port is at the bottom and the other outlets at the bottom include a headphone jack provision and mini USB port.

Design wise, there are no major complaints and there is nothing extraordinary either. There is no out of the box idea except for the blue lights that glow when there are unread messages.

In terms of the features of Nokia 6300, they are pretty straight forward and easy to use. Using the phone should be a cakewalk if you have already used a Nokia before. This is one of the typical features of Nokia, you can pick up any Nokia phones and you can start operating them with your eyes blindfolded if you have used a Nokia phones in the past.
The menu can be displayed in three formats either as tabs, as lists or as grid icons. Like you computer desktop items you can rearrange the icons in a fashion that makes sense to you. So the icons are not stuck as found in most other phones.
Nokia 6300 as a feature packed phone comes with a built in camera, video player, FM player, music player, voice recorder, calendar, calculator, stop watch, countdown timer, notes, to-do lists, alarm clock and much more.
The built-in camera is really a powerful camera for a mobile camera. It has a 2 mega pixel camera and has a number of cool preset settings such as night shooting mode, regular mode etc. It also has a timer that will allow you to be part of the photos that you take. The built-in camera allows you switch between photo and video mode.

With the preinstalled PC suite you can move music and video files between the internal memory to microSD card and vice versa. The preloaded music player can play MP3 and MP4 formats.
As a whole it is an ideal choice for someone who is looking for an all-in-one mobile phone with a stylish look.
